About the Role:
Location – Salem
Schedule – this position is scheduled for 35 hours per week with a scheduled reduction in force at the end of the school year. Scheduled hours and weeks are based on need and subject to change, including a reduction in force.
Rate – 19.50 per hour
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Ability to be flexible and to present professionally to the public. Welcome families, greet public and screen calls, taking appropriate and detailed messages. Ensure security functions of visitor’s entering building.
- Manages unexcused student absences
- Maintain all necessary calendars (Out of Office, Sign In and Out)
- Receive and manage all supplies and package deliveries
- In emergency situations support incident command
- Ensures monthly menus are posted
- Receives meals from vendor and verifies adequate count
- Distributes meals/and or supplies to class rooms as necessary
WHAT DO YOU NEED?
Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent with two years’ related experience
- Successfully complete a pre-employment physical or provide proof of physical exam within one year of hiring date and proof of immunization for Head Start vaccine requirements
- Pass CORI, SORI, DCF, and fingerprint clearance
- Bilingual preferred in languages that represent our student and family population (Spanish, Portuguese, Haitian-Creole)
