About the Role: 

Location – Beverly/Salem TWO POSITIONS AVAILABLE - reporting to both locations

Schedule – this position is scheduled for 35 hours per week, 44 weeks for the 2025/2026 school year with a planned reduction in forceScheduled hours and weeks are based on need and subject to change, including the reduction in force. 

Rate – start at 28.00 per hour  

WHAT WILL YOU DO? 

  • Support families and children in accordance with Head Start Program Performance Standards and Pathways for Children programming.  
  • Demonstrate a positive work ethic, confidentiality and collaboration with staff and families to support the overall wellbeing of children served in Pathways Head Start program.   
  • Manage a caseload of children and families in Head Start and Early Head Start enrolled in Pathways.   
  • Makes referrals and completes follow-up for therapeutic and supportive services.   
  • Attend community collaborative meetings to build relationships between Pathways and outside providers. 

WHAT DO YOU NEED? 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. 
  • Family Service Worker Credential preferred; otherwise required within the first eighteen months of employment. 
  • Bilingual preferred in languages that represent our student and family population (Spanish, Portuguese, Haitian-Creole)  

  

 

Other Requirements: 

  • Successfully complete a pre-employment physical, provide verification of immunization to Head Start vaccine mandate.
  • Maintain licensor background check requirements 
  • Possess valid MA driver’s license and proof of auto insurance, dependable vehicle and acceptable driving record
