Family Advocate - Beverly/Gloucester

We are looking to hire a Family Advocate that brings positive energy and enthusiasm to service provision. The ideal candidate has experience working with children and families. Rate 26.50 - 30.60 per hour 35 hours 44 weeks per year
Location - 1 role, 2 shared locations - Beverly/Gloucester
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Support families and children in accordance with Head Start Program Performance Standards and Pathways for Children programming. Demonstrate a positive work ethic, confidentiality and collaboration with staff and families to support the overall wellbeing of children served in Pathways Head Start program. Manage a caseload of children and families in Head Start and Early Head Start enrolled in Pathways. Makes referrals and completes follow-up for therapeutic and supportive services. Attend community collaborative meetings to build relationships between Pathways and outside providers.
WHAT DO YOU NEED?
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Family Service Worker Credential preferred; otherwise required within the first eighteen months of employment.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.
Other Requirements:
- Successfully complete an employment physical
- Maintain licensor background check requirements
- Possess valid MA driver’s license and proof of auto insurance, dependable vehicle and acceptable driving record
