$1,000 SIGN-ON BONUS - $300 after 3 months, $700 at the end of June   Gloucester - 2 positions: one at 37.5 hrs. per wk., 52 wks. per yr. one at 37.5 hrs. per wk. at 44 wks. per yr.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Accept the philosophy of Cadence Education and will work as part of the teaching team to encourage a positive learning environment for all children within the center

  • Document and share with parents the important milestones in a child’s day
  • Collaborate with other passionate preschool teachers and leaders to implement an engaging and developmentally appropriate curriculum
  • Respect and observe children's interests. Intervene when needed to maintain safety. Enhance children's play with language, toys, and activities
  • Encourage and model social behavior and expectations which are developmentally appropriate
  • Share ideas in planning a daily schedule which provides a balance of activities: quiet/active, indoor/outdoor, fine/gross motor, etc.

WHAT DO YOU NEED?

  • Lead Teacher: Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development, ECE, or in a related field with equivalent course work or otherwise meet the requirement of the Head Start Act.
  • A minimum of 9 months experience in a licensed EEC preschool program
  • Must be 18 years or older and High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the role
  • Must comply with all state and federal requirements
  • Must complete and satisfy background check protocols
