School Bus Driver

We are looking to hire a School Bus Driver to support our mission. The ideal candidate has experience with road a vehicle safety and is comfortable providing reliable transport to children of various ages. North Shore School Bus Driver - 44 weeks per year, 35 hours per week Beverly and Salem, MA
(Reductions in force are based on coverage needs and may vary from year to year
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Provide regular transportation services for all Pathways for Children programs while following the safe and most efficient routes obeying all applicable laws, EEC, Head Start, and DOT regulations. Maintaining school bus route schedules and reporting all concerns to manager/supervisor and relevant Family Service staff.
Provide safe reliable transportation to children on school buses of varied sizes
May be deployed to all Pathways centers
Perform daily pre and post trip inspections of vehicle
Be knowledgeable of areas to re-route in the instance of road construction or weather
Follow the rules and regulations of car seat safety
Perform bus evacuations drills with children and staff
WHAT DO I NEED?
- Must possess current CDL and DOT certifications
- Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
- Complete and pass yearly physical with DOT certified physician; over 70 years of
- age must 2 physicals per calendar year and proof of immunizations
- Must maintain current CPR and First Aid certifications
- Maintain a clean driving record; checked annually
- Maintain licensor background check requirements
- Proficient computer skills are required, including use of email and internet
