Job Summary:

To assist in developing an efficiently run operation of the Pathways for Children programs by facilitating, planning, and completing tasks that support the staff, the building, and the food service department. families, greet public and screen calls, taking appropriate and detailed messages. Ensure security functions of visitors entering building.  Support with administrative tasks, transition times (bus drop off/pick up and dismissal times), kitchen support and brief classroom coverage. Provide excellent customer service to families and guests.

30 Hours per week

Location:  Beverly, MA

Rate:  $20.00-S20.50 per hour

Program runs September-June with a scheduled reduction in force

What Will I Do?

  • Welcome families, greet public and screen calls, taking appropriate and detailed messages. Ensure security functions of visitor’s entering building
  • Manages unexcused student absences
  • Assist with ordering for the center
  • Maintain all necessary calendars (Out of Office, Sign In and Out)
  • Receive and manage all supplies and packages
  • Support in drills and emergency situations  
  • Provide support in the kitchen for coverage and as necessary 
  • Other duties as assigned to assist with admissions and to support the program 

Required Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent with two years’ related experience.

Experience with ChildPlus preferred, or willingness to learn. 

Maintain confidentially, be able to work independently, and as part of a team. 

Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word and Outlook and be able to update family files and emergency contact forms and complete data entry as required 

Preferred:

Associates degree, with two years related experience

Bi-Lingual candidates encouraged to apply

Other Requirements:  

  • Successfully complete a pre-employment physical or provide proof of physical exam within one year of hiring date
  • Pass CORI, SORI, DCF, and fingerprint clearance
